So I don’t know if they are just screwing with my head, but in recent episodes there have been little hints about the identity of August that writer dude. So in the most recent teaser mr. Gold broke into his room and he had a wooden donkey paper wait holding down his papers. Everything right down to the wall paper in the set design is significant in OUAT so I don’t think this is just a happy coincident. I destincly remember that Pinocchio, a wooden toy on a quest to become a real boy, get turned into a donkey at this amusement park thing. Also in the last episode when they found the shovel chip by the troll bridge August was complaining of shin splints, and I also remember him stating that he dosen’t lie (maybe because his nose will fall off idk?) …. and Geppetto made the wooden tree transport thing that sent Emma to the real world.
Also this is just my opinion so I fully accept that I could be completely wrong.
Can we just take in how great the casting was for young snow…
